Jordan Poole will need to build chemistry with Klay Thompson

Jordan Poole has had the luxury of spending his career alongside one of the greatest guards to ever play the game in Stephen Curry. Soon, he’ll be fortunate enough to add another all-time great guard to his list of mentors.

Klay Thompson and Poole have certainly already been building chemistry. Yet, there is nothing quite like sharing the NBA floor together. Poole will have to work relentlessly to form a basketball bond with the second Splash Brother.

This season, Poole and Curry have played 498 minutes together. During this time, they post an otherworldly Offensive Rating of 115.2 and a Defensive Rating of 100.2. They also hold a Net Rating of 15.0.

Poole’s ability to demand attention and create off the dribble should suit well next to Thompson’s catch-and-shoot prowess. In many ways, this is a lite version of Curry and Thompson — only with Poole’s signature flash added to the mix.
