Golden State Warriors trade target: Buddy Hield

Shooting guard Buddy Hield has been a staple of a Sacramento Kings team that is again at the bottom of the Western Conference.

The Kings, who have two young players in their backcourt, Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell, both of which were lottery picks over the last two seasons, need to focus on getting their young players minutes.

As for Hield, he is scoring 19.3 points per 36 minutes yet has only shot 39.9% from the field. However, we’ve seen what Hield is capable of before in his career, and similar to Andrew Wiggins, he could easily find his rhythm in Golden State’s system.

Hield has hit 7 triples in 2 of his last 3 games. He’s capable of carrying a time by himself. With a career three-point average of over 40%, Hield has shown that he can pour in from deep, something the Warriors have loved to do for the last half a decade.

While it may be tough to get the financials and contracts to work out, the Warriors, if any of these players intrigue them enough, could certainly bring them to the Bay Area.
