It’s not quite what it used to be, but the upcoming matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers is sure to be a fun one. If not for the genuine competition — Klay Thompson’s return should do the trick.

The Golden State Warriors will want to follow these three keys to ensure Klay Thompson’s homecoming is not spoiled by Cleveland.

As confirmed by Shams Charania, the second Splash Brother is making his long-awaited return on Sunday against a former rival.

While the Warriors trade blows with the Phoenix Suns for the top seed in the Western Conference, the Cavaliers have found themselves battling for playoff position in the East with one of the league’s most promising young cores.

Cleveland is no easy opponent and the Warriors will need to focus on some key aspects in order to ensure Thompson does not have his grand return to basketball spoiled by their former, rejuvenated foe.
