Golden State Warriors defense is top-notch

There might not be another team in modern NBA history, other than previous editions of the Golden State Warriors, they can more properly adjust to anything an opponent throws at them.

This rendition of the Dubs is as strong as ever on the defensive end. Draymond Green is rightfully in the mix for Defensive Player of the Year as he has taken hold of a talented collection of wings to lead this team to the top of the mountain.

Andrew Wiggins finished last season with just one vote for an All-Defensive team. That could change this year as he has been even better on the wing, blowing up offenses with ease as his length allows him to shield the perimeter.

Gary Payton II deserves all the credit in the world for acting as a free safety on the perimeter, darting around the court to plug up passing lanes and rough ball-handlers.

Quality assets like Andre Iguodala, Otto Porter, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Jonathan Kuminga, Kevon Looney and a career-best year on defense from Stephen Curry only make the Warriors that much tougher.

Oh, and Klay Thompson is back. A former member of the All-Defensive team, the sky is the limit for Klay in his first season back.
