3 Factors that make Golden State Warriors unbeatable
By Tony Pesta
Golden State Warriors have unmatchable cohesiveness and depth
Chemistry is of the utmost importance when distinguishing the real contenders from the fake. If there is one thing the Golden State Warriors play with, it’s cohesiveness.
This team is on a string. It took little time for newcomers like Otto Porter Jr. and Nemanja Bjelica to fit right in with the preexisting chemistry between the original core three, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney.
This chemistry has been at the forefront of the Warriors’ success. They lead the NBA in assist percentage with 69.3 percent of their field goals coming off assists. This is the highest percentage of any team since the 2017 Warriors and the second-highest since 2005.
The cohesion only grows stronger with the return of Klay Thompson. He and Stephen Curry combine for the best backcourt in the league while Draymond Green is the finishing piece to bring everyone together on both ends.
Few teams in the NBA will be able to contend with this level of chemistry. When the going gets rough, the Warriors can count on each other to step up.
