Golden State Warriors’ player that could make the NFL: Draymond Green

The Golden State Warriors have several players that have the physical prowess it would take to make it into the NFL. While the NFL is full of top-tier athletes as well, all we can really do is look at what they’ve done for Golden State and see how that would translate to football.

At 6-foot-6, Green is absolutely built, and his frame combined with his explosiveness would make him a premier defensive end or linebacker. Green is 6-foot-6 and, per basketball-reference, is 230 pounds.

Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who broke the single-season sack record, is 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds. If you give Green a couple more pounds, he’s right up there as well. The outside or middle linebacker is a place Green would thrive.

His communication, which he’s proven to be among the best at, would be of full use as a middle linebacker. Given his instincts as well, Green would likely be able to find a great rhythm defensively.
