Golden State Warriors’ player that could make the NFL: Jonathan Kuminga

The Warriors’ rookie forward Jonathan Kuminga has shown some major bounce this season. Combine that with his size, and Kuminga seems like he’d be a perfect tight end. He’s huge, athletic, and agile.

Kuminga stands 6-foot-8 and can get up with ease. As for a good comparison, Raiders star tight end Darren Waller stands 6-foot-6 and seems just as shifty when it comes to being able to jump and cut. Waller has exploded onto the scene recently.

Travis Kelce, arguably the best tight end in the league, stands 6-foot-5. Kuminga has the size. While he would need to bulk up some more, the rookie did record a 48-inch vertical, so the ability to get up is clearly there.

He would be a quarterback’s best friend. Kuminga has been as good as advertised for the Warriors, and he could be that same player for an NFL team, had that been his desired career path.
