Golden State Warriors player to watch: Klay Thompson

It sure is great to see Klay Thompson back on the floor for the Warriors. Through his first four games back with the team, Klay has averaged 13.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in only 20.8 minutes per game.

As Klay continues to work himself back within the team it will be great to see his minutes increase and allow him to make a bigger impact on the floor. It seems hard for him to find a grove playing in only five-minute spurts.

He is only shooting 35.7% from the field, and that is something that we know will not continue. He will continue to shake off the rust game by game, and I expect we see his shooting percentages rise over this homestand.

Another area where it will be interesting to watch Klay is on defense.

We should not expect him to be the lockdown defender he once was this early on but look for him to continue to get deflections and steals as he gets more comfortable playing with many new faces.
