Thankfully, the Golden State Warriors were able to get two-time MVP, Stephen Curry, back for the first of their seven-game homestand. They took down the Detroit Pistons, but things won’t be as easy for their next six games as teams like Utah and Dallas come to town.

It also will be difficult for the Warriors because they’ll be doing their work without arguably the Defensive Player of the Year frontrunner, Draymond Green.

The Golden State Warriors will be without Draymond Green for potentially weeks while other key role players nurse injuries that have kept them sidelined.

The Warriors, who have held the NBA’s best record for much of the season, have struggled as of late, losing 5 of their last 7. Golden State has been plagued by injuries though.

They have missed Curry for a couple of games, have been without Green, are having to restrict Klay Thompson, and also have key players like Moses Moody, Gary Payton II, and Andre Iguodala all still banged up.

If there’s one thing this Warriors team has shown this year, it’s depth, and they’ll continue to depend on their bench to keep them atop the conference. With that in mind, let’s dive into three players that’ll undoubtedly be given a chance to step up.
