Golden State Warriors player most likely dealt: Damion Lee

With Klay Thompson back in action, Damion Lee will more than likely see his minutes dwindle. Lee has had some big-time moments for the Warriors, having hit a game-winning three last year against Chicago.

The 6-foot-3 29-year-old Lee has spent four seasons with the Warriors, but if he’s no longer in the rotation, it doesn’t make sense for them to keep him around past the deadline. Lee can be a contributor to a title-contending team.

Lee is averaging 8.1 points per game. The more important note about Lee’s game is that he’s proven to be an elite sharpshooter. Lee is shooting 34.9% from deep this season and was at 39.7% from three last season.

The cost for Lee also wouldn’t be anything too steep, but he could be a piece that is tossed into a deal to sweeten the pot, especially for a contender. Lee has only 50 turnovers throughout the past two seasons, so his ability to play without turning the ball over has also been key to his success.

Lee deserves a spot in a rotation, but with the Warriors backcourt stacked, he may not find himself quite there for Golden State, making him a solid trade target for opposing contenders.
