Golden State Warriors: Klay Thompson is hyper-aggressive
The biggest questions heading into the season all centered on Klay Thompson. Will the Splash Brother be able to find his step or would the damage of back-to-back season-ending injuries be too much to overcome?
The answer to that question has been a triumphant victory of Thompson, who has been anything but shy in his return to the floor.
Typically, players might be a bit hesitant to come out guns blazing after consecutive significant leg injuries. Instead, Thompson skipped the ramp-up phase and went straight into flaunting his athleticism with an electric dunk over two members of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Thompson has been firing nearly every time he touches the ball. His 14.3 field goal attempts in just 21.3 minutes per game is by far the highest volume Thompson has played with since entering the league.
Who can blame him? Klay was obviously itching to shoot the ball again and while he’s only made 37 percent of his attempts — the good news is nothing seems to be holding him back from returning to form.
