Juan Toscano-Anderson

I don’t think anyone else on the Golden State Warriors has a better chance of doing what Draymond Green does on a nightly basis than Juan Toscano-Anderson. He’s the closest thing to a “Draymond-build” on the roster.

The upcoming Dunk Contest contestant has the bulky frame and athleticism that makes him a worthy successor to Draymond. While not the brilliant defensive mastermind that Green is, JTA can be effective in his own right.

Anderson has the same fiery competitiveness that helps Green earn an edge over opponents. This tenacity and versatility make him an almost irreplaceable asset for Golden State during the next few weeks.

Most of all, JTA can replicate a bit of Dray’s playmaking. He has more experience with the Splash Brothers than any other forward on the roster (outside of Andre Iguodala) and has shown a knack for creating plays in the past,

So far, JTA is only dishing 1.0 assists per game in Green’s absence but hopefully, this will change soon.
