Golden State Warriors: 3 Players hitting their strides
By Tony Pesta
1. Klay Thompson
Klay Thompson might be a superhero but we all knew it would take a little while for him to get up to speed after multiple years on the sideline. While he hasn’t exactly shot the ball with as much success as he usually does — Thompson has looked good.
Stricly from a mobility standpoint, Thompson looks phenomenal. He’s not moving like a guy who spent two years rehabbing from back-to-back season-ending injuries. His debut dunk over the Cleveland Cavaliers showed us how confident he is in his health.
The Warriors have been sure not to push it too far. Thompson has sat in strategic games to ensure his long-term health.
Nevertheless, we are on the runway now and this plane is cleared for takeoff. Thompson has not been shy, stepping up to drill a game-sealing shot versus Brooklyn in spite of his shaky shooting. Soon, he’ll be in rhythm and the Dubs will be able to count on him full time.
