It’s been a better-than-expected first half of the season for the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors currently have the second-best record in the league, and they’ve been able to hang onto their spot right behind the Phoenix Suns even though four-time All-Star forward Draymond Green has missed weeks.

The Golden State Warriors did not make any moves with the trade deadline having already passed, but some of their rivals certainly have.

With their many young pieces, the Warriors had the ability to make a big-time, blockbuster trade prior to the February 10th trade deadline, but it was always unlikely that they’d make a move. They have all they need to make an NBA Finals run.

A player like Ben Simmons may not have transformed this team enough to make it worth the risk. However, just because the Warriors have all they need, that doesn’t mean other teams didn’t do their best to close the gap.

With that in mind, the Warriors should be keeping an eye on which teams are looking primed to also contend for a title. That said, let’s dive into three teams making moves that the Warriors should be watching.
