It’s buyout season for the Golden State Warriors and even though their situation is a bit more complicated than most, it’s always a good thing to keep your eyes on the market for a potential upgrade.

The Golden State Warriors have some tough decisions to make. Here are the pros and cons of five potential buyout candidates.

The Dubs have a rare problem on their hands. With 15 players who legitimately have a case for playing time, it’s impossible to add anyone on the buyout market without cutting someone from the roster.

Names that have been featured as potentially expendable include Nemanja Bjelica, Gary Payton and Damion Lee. Though, all three of them provide a unique skill set that will not be easily replaced.

Payton is a ballhawk defender, Lee is a 3-and-D wing and Bjelica can bring spacing to the frontcourt.

As a result, cutting anyone is going to be a tough decision.

Nevertheless, the buyout market serves as an opportunity to upgrade. Are any of these five candidates worth it?
