We are now officially done with the All-Star break which means the Golden State Warriors have one-half of the NBA season remaining to get themselves prepared for a playoff push.

Golden State is in second place in the Western Conference with a 42-17 record. Just 1.5 games separate them from the up-and-coming Memphis Grizzlies, who are in third place.

The Golden State Warriors are in a good position heading into the second half of the season but here are three goals they must accomplish.

Capturing the top seed in the Western Conference is going to be a challenge. The Phoenix Suns have built a 6.5 game advantage but Chris Paul’s recent hand injury, which is expected to cause him to miss two months of play, could open the door to a comeback for the Warriors.

Regardless of that outcome, the Warriors have a few goals they should be looking to accomplish before the postseason.
