The Golden State Warriors have the second-best record in the NBA. They had the best record for a good stretch of the season but faltered and took a step back in the weeks leading up to the league’s All-Star Weekend.

Considering the absence of forward Draymond Green, it’s almost excusable that their level of play declined slightly. The Warriors have also yet to see second-year center James Wiseman take the court.

The Golden State Warriors are going to have to get the most out of their players to win the NBA Finals, and here’s how they can do just that.

Nonetheless, the Warriors have the major pieces in place to make a Finals run.

On their roster, they have two All-Star Game starters, a rising star, and a former five-time All-Star still in his prime. All they need to do now is get the most of what they have. However, that’s easier said than done for head coach Steve Kerr.

The Warriors never seemed like a real threat to make a major move prior to the February 10 trade deadline. They weren’t going to give up many of their young pieces for a win-now player that may not help their title aspirations that much.

With that in mind, let’s dive into a few duos that Kerr should consider playing more down the stretch in order to maximize this team’s production.
