Revenge is something on every mind of the Golden State Warriors franchise. They have been beaten and battered since their loss in the 2019 NBA Finals and this season is shaping up to be their grand return to the league’s main stage.

Halfway through the 2021-22 season, it is already evident the Warriors are back in contention. They hold the second-best record in the NBA at 43-17 and are the only team that is getting massive upgrades deep into the season.

Two years of being dormant have the Golden State Warriors ready to set the league ablaze once they are finally at full strength.

Yes, as good as the Dubs have been this year, they haven’t been anywhere near full strength for its entirety. Klay Thompson has played fewer than 20 games and none of them have been alongside Draymond Green. Not to mention, we have never seen the original big three play with James Wiseman in the middle.

It is unclear how effective the sophomore big man will be but it won’t take much for him to make an impact. He has the size and versatility in the paint to be a force due to the incredible spacing offered by the Splash Brothers.

As for Green, the Dubs can rest assured the trio of Green, Thompson and Stephen Curry will cause trouble for opponents. Golden State has a 273-54 record when the three play together.

Both Wiseman and Green are taking steps towards returning soon. Once this happens, the Dubs will have a chance to set the league ablaze at full strength for the first time in years.

The only challenge will be their schedule, which ranks as one of the 10 most difficult remaining. Looking at this from a different view, the Warriors will be able to make a string of statements against the league’s best contenders.

A strong finish to the season against a schedule this tough is the type of thing that would put everyone on notice.
