Why Warriors aspirations aren’t in peril: Playoff experience

While in the near-term future, things may not get better. When the playoffs begin, it’s a clean slate, and the Warriors will likely be able to enter with a healthy roster which is far more important than homecourt advantage throughout the first two series.

The Warriors have a core Big 3 that have all been to 5 NBA Finals, winning 3 of them.

That’s experience that no other team in the NBA can say they have, and it will be important when the postseason rolls around. Another underrated part about the Warriors is that they’d been playing together, so they have experience with each other.

A team like the Nets have experience, but with Kyrie Irving missing home games, Kevin Durant’s injury, and Ben Simmons’ recent trade, they haven’t been able to get chemistry despite having playoff experience.

Despite Green’s injury and Thompson’s recent return, the developed chemistry will be huge for the Warriors moving forward, and it’s a reason not to fret as long as this team is able to get back to full strength before the playoffs commence.
