Bringing back the Warriors defense identity

For a great part of the season, the Warriors were the best defense in the league. Missing Green, one of the greatest defenders of all time, may cause you problems, but the Warriors have proven that they can still be a good defensive team.

The lack of size made them vulnerable, and despite the fact that they are the top defensive team numbers-wise, there is something left to be desired.

Some quality minutes from great energy guys like Juan Toscano Anderson may provide much-needed help in the struggling defense, and emphasizing Gary Payton II’s excellent defensive abilities may help too.

Kevon Looney is having a career year, but the shorthanded Warriors front line seems like it has exhausted him.

Bringing back sophomore James Wiseman will not be the best solution to the problem, but it will be an important piece in adding big bodies and resting Looney some.
