Reasons the Warriors shouldn’t to panic

Draymond Green’s return is on the horizon; team should be healthy for playoffs

The Golden State Warriors started and spent the majority of the first several weeks as the No. 1 team in the NBA. It wasn’t hard to see why either. On the offensive end, they were a well-oiled machine led by Green’s distributing, Curry’s shooting and Poole’s playmaking.

Since then, Thompson has returned and Wiggins has come back to reality. Bringing back Green should be able to return the Warriors to their winning, early-season ways.

Green’s impact, as noted earlier, will truly be felt on the defensive end. The Warriors drop to No. 16 in defensive rating is to no one’s surprise. Green is the captain of the defense and is self-proclaimed the best defender ever.

It’s not just Green though.

Andre Iguodala and Wiseman should both be back in action for the playoffs, and with the experience they have both with each other and with Thompson and Curry, getting back into a groove should take no time.

The Warriors have NBA Finals potential, and panicking over a few weeks, while there are certainly reasons why fans should, is a bit overblown while the team is giving big-time minutes to their two rookies.
