Sign Tyreke Evans
The Golden State Warriors have refrained from any panic-button decisions for the last two years. While they’ve rightfully avoided blockbuster trades — they might want to reconsider their options on the free agency market.
Sure, cutting a member of this team won’t be easy and the price tag that comes with signing another player is something that will hurt their pockets quite a bit. However, is this price worth it if a free agent can bolster this straggling roster?
The Warriors have recently decided to workout Tyreke Evans, a former Rookie of the Year who has not played in the NBA since 2019.
The Golden State Warriors are meeting and working out free agent Tyreke Evans in the Bay Area this week, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater. The 10-year NBA vet was recently reinstated after a three-year suspension and has visited the Bucks too.

In his heyday, Evans was a dynamic guard with length, agility and 3-point shooting. He can provide a flair of versatility to the Dubs and act as a floor general in the second unit, allowing Jordan Poole to focus on scoring.
It goes without saying the Warriors would have to see reassuring signs in their workout with Evans before making a final decision.
