After the most troubling stretch of the season, the Golden State Warriors are ramping up for a return to normalcy on Monday, March 14.

Klay Thompson’s offensive explosion and Draymond Green’s imminent return have the Golden State Warriors savoring a return to normalcy.

It’s been nearly three years since Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson shared the court together. Well, aside from the brief moment Green was on the floor for tip-off during Klay’s first game back against Cleveland.

Monday will mark the official return of the big three — and we might even get Andre Iguodala back in action, as well. The OG death lineup can stamp their presence and this return to normalcy can’t come soon enough.

On Saturday, Thompson erupted for 38 points in his first “I’m back” moment since debuting in January. His stroke looked pure and his confidence was sky-high after months of struggling to get his rhythm back.

This was the first time Klay scored 38 points since January 21, 2019. Watching Curry seek out Thompson during his takeover was everything this team has been missing for the last few years.

Green’s return is going to help even more as the Warriors’ lead playmaker is ready to set up the Splash Brothers for easy looks once again. He also addresses their problems on defense where Golden State has slipped in his absence.

All the while, the Warriors are seeing consistent reminders of how strong their roster is when firing on all cylinders. Jordan Poole scored 30 points on Saturday while Andrew Wiggins poured in 21 points.

Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga continue to add new and interesting wrinkles to the Dubs’ attack as both rookies show promise on each side of the floor.

Golden State has won three straight games and can look forward to the nearing return of James Wiseman. Once they are at full strength, we can breathe a sigh of relief and wait for the team to get back to competing for a championship. Normalcy is almost upon us.
