What is the Warriors’ ceiling?

The Golden State Warriors, for the first several weeks of the season, were the best team in the NBA.

As the season progressed and the Warriors continued without Thompson, they started to struggle and were eventually overtaken by the Devin Booker-led Suns. The Suns will more than likely end as the top team in the West.

Then, when Green missed an extended period of time from early-January to mid-March, the Warriors dropped yet another spot to third. That should be where enough is enough for Golden State, but the damage is already done.

The Warriors beat the Wizards in Green’s return, but it wasn’t necessarily an impressive win with Curry snapping out of any shooting slump.

However, can they take on the Grizzlies and Suns and bring that same dominance we saw against the Bucks? Getting to that level will be what the Warriors need to prove they can do prior to the playoffs commencing.

Ultimately, given their experienced personnel, it may not matter that much, but seeing the Warriors take down the Celtics, Heat, Jazz, and Suns would calm some nerves.
