3 burning questions Warriors must answer before postseason commences
Who will be in the final rotation?
The Golden State Warriors also will have to tinker with their playoff rotation, and that’s going to be the most interesting question poised for Kerr to indirectly answer. The reason being is the Warriors have not often been at full strength.
Will Damion Lee get minutes? What about Moses Moody who recently put up a career-high 30 points? What will Jonathan Kuminga’s role be? Then you have players like Otto Porter Jr., Andre Iguodala and Nemanja Bjelica that could all see time in games.
The six players we’ve already talked about will be in the rotation come late April. Porter Jr., Kuminga will likely split minutes at the three and four with Iguodala getting spotty minutes at those positions as well.
In the backcourt, it’ll likely be Poole and then Payton II. Payton II has been too good defensively, and Moody may not quite be ready for playoff intensity.
Nonetheless, those are just guesses as the Warriors may shock fans and get Lee quality minutes. It’s a question, nonetheless, that will need to be answered as the Warriors end the season.
