Basketball fans everywhere love March Madness, and Draymond Green and Stephen Curry may be taking it to the next level as the Davidson Wildcats will be taking on the Michigan State Spartans in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Spartans will enter the game as favorites, but Davidson is well-deserving of its at-large bid, which it was forced to take as Richmond beat the Wildcats in the final of the Atlantic 10 tournament.

With the Spartans set to play the Wildcats as the 7-10 matchup in the West Region, Draymond Green and Stephen Curry made a friendly bet on the game.

For Curry and Green, players who have represented the college they attended many times during their illustrious NBA career, the dynamic duo made a bet, and it’ll be interesting if it is one that will come to fruition.

“On a recent podcast episode, Draymond Green said Steph Curry will be entering the arena dressed as Sparty, should Michigan State beat Davidson in the first round of the NCAA Tournament,” Sports Illustrated’s Joey Linn wrote.

Curry coming in as Sparty would be quite the scene. With the sword in hand, Curry would be rocking the big green machine if MSU comes out on top. However, Michigan State has to defeat the six-loss Davidson before he puts Sparty on though.

Seeing these two teammates do something like this is only a positive.

NBA Champions and clearly good friends, the duo will be tasked with leading the Warriors into a deep playoff run almost as soon as March Madness comes to a close. Keeping a light-hearted attitude should only bode well.

That said, the winner of this game may not have the best time in the second round as they’ll more than likely be awaited by Duke, who is the No. 2 seed in the West Region, a set of 16-teams led by the tournament’s No. 1 overall seed Gonzaga.

For those curious, the game is set to tip at 9:40 p.m. ET Thursday. It should be among the best in the region as it is going to be one of the few games between two teams both ranked in Kenpom’s top 45.

Hopefully, if Davidson wins, Green has to take on the Wildcat as well, but I guess we’ll see if that comes true if the Wildcats can pull off the upset.
