The news couldn’t come at a much worse time for the Golden State Warriors. It took them two full years to gather all of the puzzle pieces and just as they were putting them all together —  Stephen Curry suffered a freak injury.

The good news is it could be worse. Curry avoided any structural damage and should be able to return before the playoffs begin on April 16.

Even so, the Warriors can’t afford to punt on their final 12 games of the season. The race for the second seed is heating up with Memphis only half a game ahead of Golden State. Besides that, it’s vital the Dubs roll into the playoffs with a little bit of juice.

The Golden State Warriors will need one of these three players to rise to the occasion with Stephen Curry sidelined for the next two weeks.

In order to avoid stumbling into the postseason, someone is going to have to step up. The time is now for a heroic stretch of games from one of the role players. Here are the three players who will be most depended upon in Curry’s absence.
