Jordan Poole can reach his pinnacle

The Golden State Warriors hoped that Jordan Poole would flourish into a new role this season. With 12 games remaining, those preseason expectations have already been met as he’s grown into an honorary member of the Splash Brothers.

Poole can put the cherry on top of his recent developments by momentarily carrying the torch and leading the team in Stephen Curry’s absence. Everything has been leading up to this one shining moment for the young guard.

JP has plenty of experience playing one-half of the Splash Bros but he’s never been partnered up with Klay Thompson for an extended stretch. Watching these two build chemistry could be an unexpected blessing as Poole’s playmaking and Thompson’s catch-and-shoot capabilities mesh well together.

The duo has played 286 minutes together and holds a superb Net Rating of 11.4. Continuing to hammer home this connection will be key to keeping the Dubs intact without Curry.
