There’s no denying there will be some lows for the Golden State Warriors over the next month.

While they did manage a nice victory over a short-handed Miami Heat team, life without Stephen Curry is going to be difficult. Curry is expected to be back in time for the playoffs, but that’s not for certain.

The Golden State Warriors are about a month away from commencing their postseason run, and here are 3 X-factors that will determine how far they go.

For the bulk of the first half of the season, the Warriors sat atop the Western Conference. With Draymond Green having missed all of February and parts of both January and March, the Warriors fell to third in the West. Both the Suns and Grizzlies are ahead of the Warriors.

They should be safe from the play-in tournament. While that’s great, their team has championship aspirations, and they certainly haven’t played like it with losses to the Spurs, Magic, and Celtics within their last 4 games.

Nonetheless, the Warriors are a battle-tested group that has been together for a few seasons now. With that in mind, let’s dive into 3 X-factors that will determine how far they go in the postseason.
