Thompson would miss a total of 941 days with those injuries. watching the young and battered Warriors team struggle to win games for the majority of his absence.

January ninth. That is the day Klay Thompson returned. They were scheduled to play the Cleveland Cavaliers, who he has plenty of history with.

Thompson would score 17 points in only 20 minutes of action, helping lead the Warriors to a win against a surging Cavs team.

Klay Thompson has continued this momentum scoring 18.7 points per game throughout this season and has shown flashes of returning to the great player he once was.
