It has been a hectic ride for the Golden State Warriors.

They started the season as the best team in the NBA and stayed there for quite a while. The Suns were always on their tails and eventually jumped them. The Grizzlies, as the Dubs dealt with a plethora of injuries, also leaped Golden State.

The Golden State Warriors have a major size hole, and they have options at their disposal, 2 of which were potentially players for the Dubs.

One reason they’ve struggled at times is that their team has little size. With 7-foot second-year center James Wiseman having been ruled out, not playing a single game this year, the Dubs won’t have any reinforcements on deck.

The Warriors do not start a player that’s above 6-foot-9.

Looney stands 6-foot-9 and Draymond Green is 6-foot-6. While it hasn’t been a huge problem with Green back in action, taking on a team that utilizes a big man like Denver or Phoenix may showcase that exact struggles.

The Warriors know they have a hole there, and while it may not be a make-or-break situation for the Dubs, it could impact their championship odds. With that in mind, let’s dive into 2 former Warrior centers the team could sign right now.
