Former Warriors player team should sign: Jordan Bell

Another former player, that the Warriors actually paid the Bulls for the draft rights to in order to take in the second round, is Jordan Bell. Bell is currently playing for the G-League’s Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Bell was taken in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft. While he’s in the G-League, Bell did take the court this season, playing just 1 game for 2 minutes as a member of the Chicago Bulls. Bell spent his first two full seasons with the Warriors.

At his peak, Bell averaged 4.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. While he never really got to the ceiling or the versatility that the Warriors drafted him for, seeing somewhat of a Draymond Green-esque player in Bell, he still has the potential to contribute at the highest level.

Bell stands just 6-foot-8 but would provide better rebounding and more length than a player like Otto Porter Jr. He has the potential to be a solid option, and he knows how to play alongside Stephen Curry which is an important trait for the Warriors.

Nonetheless, the versatility makes him a reasonable option for the Warriors.
