Parity has returned to the NBA and despite struggling more than expected, the Golden State Warriors are still a darkhorse candidate to win the Western Conference.

Golden State has slipped from the upper-tier of the conference, with squads like Phoenix and Memphis taking control. Meanwhile, Dallas is only one game behind the third-seeded Warriors and could easily surpass them in the final week of the season.

The bottom portion of the conference does not get any easier. Denver has the reigning MVP and could see the return of Jamal Murray any day now. Then, there is the always competitive Utah Jazz — and a potentially game-breaking LA Clippers squad with Paul George and a looming Kawhi Leonard return that could come out of nowhere.

The Golden State Warriors have a loaded path ahead of them but these three reasons are why they can still win the Western Conference.

Even with so many obstacles ahead of them, the Warriors have plenty of reasons to feel confident. Today, we look at three ways the Dubs can still make it to the NBA Finals.
