Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole continue their streak

With Stephen Curry’s status for the first round uncertain, the Golden State Warriors can not afford to see Jordan Poole or Klay Thompson cool down after their hot streak to conclude the regular season.

We’ll start with Poole, the guy who has been applying heavy pressure on Most Improved voters. He’s averaging a blistering hot 25 points on 47% shooting since early March. Poole has surpassed every expectation and is showing shades of Curry in his movements.

Poole is the Warriors’ primary creator with Curry on the sideline. He initiates the offense and dictates the flow of the game. Not only can he shoot the lights out but his handle has tightened up and his passing is improving every night.

As for Thompson, the NBA’s greatest catch-and-shoot threat is getting his mojo back. It took a while to knock the dust off but a two-way layoff has proven to be nothing Klay can’t overcome. He finished the year by scoring 41 points and placing the cherry on top of a successful comeback.

If Poole and Thompson continue their 3-point barrage, it will be hard for the Nuggets to respond.
