On Saturday, April 16, the Golden State Warriors make their long-awaited return to NBA Playoff basketball in a first round matchup against the Denver Nuggets.

The Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets are ready for a first round NBA Playoffs showdown. Here are three x-factors to watch for.

Across the league, we have already received a taste of postseason basketball with the Play-In Tournament once again providing thrills. The Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves have advanced while the Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, LA Clippers and New Orleans Pelicans have one final opportunity to reach the eighth seed.

Back in the Bay, the Dubs are gearing up for an explosive meeting with the Nuggets. This will be the first time since 2019 the Warriors played a playoff game and their first one in the new arena.

This series is not as straightforward as many other 3-6 matchups. The Nuggets pack a punch and the Dubs have a few concerns to focus on. Today, we look at the three biggest x-factors of this first round matchup.
