1. Stephen Curry’s ankle

The number one thing on everyone’s mind will be Stephen Curry’s status for the series. He’s slated to return for Game 1 after weeks on the sideline with an ankle injury.

We know he will be on a minutes restriction to start. But from there, the rest is uncertain.

How capable will Curry be in his return? Is he going to be hobbled or will the two-time MVP be able to dance around the floor and dart around screens like he usually does?

The Warriors won’t have to fret too much. After all, Jordan Poole has been streaking as of late and can carry a portion of the offensive load.

Yet, Curry’s ankle will be a long-term concern for the team. One bad step could tweak his injury and set the team on a path of pain moving forward.

The Warriors have a 9-3 record without Curry in the playoffs. They dropped one game to Houston in 2016, one to Portland the same year and one in San Antonio during the 2018 NBA Playoffs.
