Warriors player that’ll be key to victory: Jordan Poole

Jordan Poole has stepped up his game this season.

His hard work has made him a potential candidate for the Most Improved Player award. Poole is averaging 18.5 points per game this season which improved upon his 12.0 a season ago. Poole’s scoring has increased about 66% each season he’s played in the league.

To end the season, Poole was even better than expected, averaging 25.6 points per game over his last 18. Poole’s importance with Curry out cannot go unnoticed, and he’ll undoubtedly be a starter, or at least he should be among head coach Steve Kerr’s first five.

Regardless, he’s earned the right to close games, and if he can continue hitting his shots, Poole will help take this team to the next level.

Without Poole, the Dubs may have dropped to the fifth or even sixth seed. He’ll be even more important in the playoffs. If he can hit his ceiling Poole will be the team’s x-factor in making the NBA Finals for the sixth time in 8 years.
