Warriors player that’ll be key to victory: Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry is both going to be returning from a sprained foot and trying to integrate himself into a rotation that he hasn’t spent much time with. Sure, playing with Thompson and Green will be second nature, but the Big 3 plus Poole may pose challenges.

On top of that, Curry hasn’t been playing well for much of the season. He’s shooting the lowest percentage of his career from deep.

For the Dubs to win the NBA Finals, it’s going to be on Curry to carry them offensively, and both coming back from an injury and having not played well for the bulk of this season may make it difficult for him to bounce back.

But, as we’ve seen from Curry, he is that good. He’s not the league’s only unanimous MVP by coincidence.

With a probable tag slapped to his name for the first game, Curry looking spry and ready to run off every screen will be a tell-tale sign if he’s truly nearing 100%. For the Warriors to win the series, it’ll be important that he is.
