It has been a long time coming… but they are back. The Golden State Warriors made a statement in their 123-107 victory over the Denver Nuggets to kick off the 2022 NBA Playoffs.
The Dubs have been navigating murky water ever since Klay Thompson returned in January. A carousel of injuries have held them back from being at full strength each year since 2019 but the team is finally at full strength (sort of) and they showed just how deadly they can be with a dominant win over Denver.

Now, we don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves. The road is still filled with possible obstacles and the Warriors are 15 wins away from winning a championship. Yet, there is no doubt they have returned to the forefront of the NBA.
No matter what you think about the Warriors, there is no denying they have just as much firepower as any other team in the league. It’s possible they are about to peak at precisely the right time and steamroll the rest of the NBA en route to a title.
