3 Takeaways from Golden State Warriors’ statement games

If that wasn’t a statement, I don’t know what is. The Golden State Warriors capped off a Game 2 win by setting NBA Twitter ablaze with one overwhelming message: We’re back.
The Golden State Warriors are roaring to a 2-0 series lead as they show the NBA world a sneak peek of how dominant they can become.
Game 1 was as good of an opening night as you could ask for. The Warriors handled business behind another hot game from Jordan Poole. Even with Stephen Curry on a minutes’ restriction, Golden State coasted to victory.
In Game 2, the Dubs did more of the same. A slow start was accelerated by the three-guard lineup that has the rest of the league terrified. A 16-0 run snowballed until the Dubs eventually won the game by 20 points.
No team in the NBA has made more of a statement to kick off the 2022 NBA Playoffs. Today, we examine three takeaways from this astounding start.
