Warriors’ Steph, Klay, and Draymond Become an All-Time Trio

The Warriors’ trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have endured a great amount of success over their 10 seasons of playing together.

Curry has won two NBA MVP awards, one being unanimous. Klay has the NBA’s record for the most three-point shots made in a single game (14) and the most points being scored in a single quarter (37). Draymond won the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year Award back in 2017.

They’ve each done this individually all while winning three NBA Championships and breaking the record for the most wins in regular season history.

Winning this year’s championship would equate to the three of them having four Finals victories, something only a couple of trios in NBA history have accomplished.

Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, and John Havlicek won six NBA Championships with the Boston Celtics in the late ‘50s and early ‘60s and Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili won four championships with the San Antonio Spurs between the years 2003 and 2014.

Getting their fourth title would mean Curry/Thompson/Green would have more championships than several all-time NBA trios like Magic/Kareem/Worthy, Bird/McHale/Parrish, and Jordan/Pippen/Rodman.

This Warriors’ trio has a chance at getting their names in the conversation with some of the best trios to ever play the game.
