Golden State Warriors potential free-agent signee: JaVale McGee

The final free agent to bring some stature to the court is JaVale McGee.

The current Phoenix Suns center is a win on and off the court. Standing at a whopping 7-feet tall, McGee would add his very large frame to the roster but also bring a 62.9% shooting percentage to the court.

However, he’s not used often in Phoenix, playing just 15.8 minutes per game this season. McGee would also be a friendly face to the Warriors, as he was a part of the squad that won the NBA Championship in both 2017 and 2018.

Not long after that, the thirteen-year veteran found himself with the Los Angeles Lakers, who would go on to take the NBA Championship home in the 2020 season. McGee has familiarity and experience for a fraction of the cost.

He’s a veteran. He has a lengthy wingspan and is a great lob threat. Put it all together, and the Warriors would add another dimension to their frontcourt.
