The Golden State Warriors are up 2-1 on the Memphis Grizzlies, and while they’ve played well through 3, not everyone has erupted like guard Jordan Poole. Even Stephen Curry hasn’t played his best basketball yet.

At best, Golden State has been given spotty performances from Draymond Green.

The Golden State Warriors might be up in their second-round series, but these players who have disappointed so far could improve their play.

The Dubs’ first-round series went a bit smoother and seemed like a more respectful series than their current one against Memphis. It seems the injuries, or talk of attempts, and other non-basketball factors like some players not speaking to media have loomed large on the series.

However, the Warriors have had a successful first 8 games in the postseason. While they’ve been able to generate offense and win a few games in blowout fashion, Golden State hasn’t had all its pieces clicking simultaneously for a long stretch of games.

To be fair to how well the Dubs are playing, their offense is averaging the most points per game in the playoffs, and it’s not even close as they sit at 118.8 and the second-highest team, Memphis, is averaging 113.6.

The Warriors have dominated in many aspects through the first 8 games of their hopefully lengthy postseason run, but these 3 players haven’t necessarily been as impactful as Golden State would’ve hoped for.
