Golden State Warriors’ player who has disappointed: Nemanja Bjelica
Nemanja Bjelica has actually played pretty decently when on the court, but his disappointment comes in both his play and lack of minutest.
Bjelica is averaging 10.6 minutes per game but has only played in 5 games. Since the Warriors are facing Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke, not Nikola Jokic and DeMarcus Cousins, the need for a player of Bjelica’s size isn’t as great.
The lack of involvement is an issue and makes the overall impact of Bjelica disappointing. When in the game, he’s averaging just 1.6 rebounds per game which, when playing almost a quarter, isn’t great either.
Bjelica also missed all 3 of his attempts from deep throughout the playoffs which may not help his cause to get more minutes. Without Steven Adams involved, Bjelicia may not have much of an impact against the Grizzlies
Against the Suns in the next round, if the top seed makes it through the Mavericks, the importance of Bjelica could resurface. For now, his impact on the team’s success has been disappointing.
