3. Pace

The Grizzlies are probably the only team in the league that has an advantage over the Warriors in a fast-paced game.

Typically the Warriors like to play a run-and-gun style, but with the speed of Ja Morant and lineups that often feature 5 capable shooters, the Grizzlies have proven that they can outplay the Dubs at this style.

During the regular season, the Grizz averaged 15.1 fast break points per game compared to the Warriors’ 11.

In game 3 the Warriors made such a high percentage of their shots, that there weren’t as many opportunities for the Grizzlies to get out and run. So in Game 4, it will be important to see who controls the pace.

The Grizzlies will certainly want to play as fast as possible before the Dubs can set their defense, and the Dubs will likely want to get out in the open floor in their own right. Whoever can control the pace may prove to be the victor.
