Warriors player that has helped stock: Jordan Poole

While Jordan Poole excelled to end the season, he wasn’t the superstar that the first nine games of the playoffs have made the third-year guard.

Poole spent stints with the team’s G-League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, in both his first two seasons, so this eruption goes to further prove how excellent the Warriors scouting and development staff are.

Poole kicked off the postseason with a team-high 30 points in a win over the Nuggets. He’s continued that success with two 30-point games and six 20-point games. It’s been a huge step into stardom for the young guard.

Even though Poole has had a few rough performances, he’s been extremely consistent and efficient for the most part. Poole has topped 60% from the field in five games and is shooting 54% this postseason.

Couple that with shooting 44% from deep which seemed impossible his first few seasons in the league, and Poole’s made strides that few have expected. The sky is the limit for the 22-year-old that may play himself in a max-level contract in due time.
