#2 What’s wrong with Draymond Green?

The Warriors consider Draymond Green as their leader in defense, creator offensively and their overall basketball identity.

But he is probably having the worst playoff series of his career and everything seems more difficult. Green is “absent” from the series defensively, allowing Jackson to make the best stretch of his career so far with 20.4 points and 6.8 rebounds.

Jackson has abused the Warriors in multiple games, and on top of that, the return of Adams has been brutal for the Warriors. He’s taken it to the Warriors in the paint and on both the offensive and defensive glass.

At the same time, DG has tallied 28 assists for 20 turnovers, while offensively scoring 4.8 points, the fewest he had in a playoff series in his career since 2013!

Do not get confused; Green was averaging  14.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 10 assists while shooting 40% from three in the series against Pelicans just 4 years ago. It’s in him and just needs to show itself on the court.
