It wasn’t the easiest series for the Golden State Warriors, but they made it out in just six games despite a 39-point Game 5 loss.
The Warriors, after missing the playoffs in two straight seasons, came out with a vengeance to start the year. They started the season with the best record in the NBA, and although that regressed before the end of the season, they still entered the playoffs as the No. 3 seed.
The Golden State Warriors have advanced to the Western Conference Finals following a tough 6-game battle with the Ja Morant-led Memphis Grizzlies.
Despite not having home-court advantage, the Warriors stole Game 1 in Memphis, and then just won each of their 3 games on their home court. The Warriors are now 6-0 straight up and 4-2 against the spread at home in the playoffs.
They’ve been impressive all season long at the Chase Center.
Golden State’s series with Memphis was far from clean as the first few games were highlighted by injuries and off-court theatrics. However, the Warriors stuck to their game plan and, although blown out in Game 5, managed to close the series prior to a road Game 7.
