The Golden State Warriors will welcome the Dallas Mavericks for Game 1 on Wednesday evening.

After a six-game series with the Memphis Grizzlies following a five-game series with the Denver Nuggets, Golden State should be fairly rested and prepared for a lengthy series against the Luka Doncic-led Mavs.

The Golden State Warriors are about to commence their Western Conference Finals’ matchup with the Dallas Mavericks. Here are 3 key advantages.

Dallas embarrassed Phoenix, the only semifinal team that sat top five in both offensive and defensive rating during the regular season, in Game 7 on Sunday. The Mavericks won all 3 home games and then Game 7.

They entered the playoffs as the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference, defeating the Utah Jazz in the first round. The Mavs are captained by Doncic who is averaging 31.5 points per game in the playoffs, the most of any players still in action.

Golden State has a few key advantages in this series though which should help propel them to hopefully their sixth NBA Finals appearance in eight seasons. That said, let’s dive into what they are.
