Golden State Warriors can draft Walker Kessler, C

The most pressing issue concerning the Golden State Warriors’ current title run is their lack of size. Kevon Looney has been the only thing keeping this frontcourt from trailing off a cliff as James Wiseman remains on the sideline.

With the Warriors’ depth at center dwindling and the ever-increasing possibility that an opposing team will offer Looney a deal the Dubs can’t match, it would be in the franchises’ best interest to take a look at Walker Kessler.

Kessler, a 7’1″ big man with a 7’5″ wingspan could give the Dubs exactly what they need — size.

He doesn’t have much All-Star potential but the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year can certainly anchor a defense. He’s a shot-blocking, rebound-hunting, slam-dunking seven-footer who can flourish in Golden State.
